Launched in April 2025, the One Groove Label is a platform built to empower artists to share their music on their own terms while protecting their rights. It ensures full financial ownership and creative freedom, enabling artists to shape their work without compromise.

At its core, the label reflects One Groove’s mission: fostering collaboration, creativity, and global musical exchange while amplifying diverse voices and uniting artists across continents.

Answering a growing demand from artists and the industry, the inaugural AmaGroove Residency in April 2024 was developed in collaboration with AUTOR, the NIROX Foundation, and the Riky Rick Foundation for the Promotion of Artivism, with support from Koda Kultur.
The residency created space for producers, songwriters, and vocalists to move beyond conventional networks—collaborating across borders to co-create, innovate, and inspire. Held at the Kromdraai Impact and Co-Creativity Hub in the Cradle of Humankind, it brought together 14 artists from South Africa and Denmark for ten days of songwriting, workshops, and cultural exchange—connecting creators through music, dialogue, and shared community engagement.
The first edition of Music Maker Global was held in partnership with Tiwale (Malawi), La Fabrique Arts Studio (Tunisia), and Experimental Sound Studio (United States).
Across three interconnected sessions, 12 artists from four hubs came together in a hybrid format—physically based in their local communities while virtually linked across continents. Through showcases, feedback sessions, and shared storytelling, participants explored new sounds, exchanged creative perspectives, and built a global peer network.
The sessions were recorded and released as podcasts and digital content, extending the dialogue and artistic exchange beyond borders.
