One Groove People

As leaders, music professionals and humans, we use our influence, talents and knowledge as a catalyst for inclusion, equity, and diversity.

“I founded One Groove because music can really move the status quo, it can change the way we are together as humanity, it’s the narrator of the different eras of our lives and societies. My passion is… Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Gender and Racial Equity, working to empower and create meaningful collaborations and to build ecosystems for impact and societal change. That’s why I do this.”

“There was nobody to go to or see as a role model when I entered the music business at 15. To make the music I wanted, I had to find my own way to bypass the generation of men occupying positions of power. That’s why my role at One Groove Academy is so important to me and a privilege—we need safe spaces and mentorship for the next generation. And it goes both ways; I learn a lot from the upcoming artists I work with.”
