Co-creating innovative opportunities and transformational pathways for new music creators to grow, thrive and bypass traditional gatekeepers.
One Groove facilitates and co-hosts safe and inclusive spaces of belonging and co-creation that transcend cultural barriers and cultivate talent and meaningful relationships founded on understanding and curiosity.
Working across regions, borders and genres to transform the music industry into a more diverse, just and equitable space where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed.
Collaborating with Riky Rick Foundation for the Promotion of Artivism, AUTOR and NIROX, we connect music makers from South Africa and Denmark to co-create music, explore new sounds, and do a workshop with underprivileged kids from an informal settlement. Creating a lasting international network for cultural exchange, understanding, future co-creation and business opportunities.
April 2024
We are excited to announce our first global project—a collaborative journey uniting talents from around the world, in partnership with Tiwale in Malawi, La Fabrique Arts Studio in Tunisia, and Experimental Sound Studio in the US.
The project presents 12 music makers (three talents selected from each hub) with a transformative experience to unlock new levels of creativity and showcase their work to a global network of fellow artists, mentors, and industry experts.

With MUSEUM FOR THE UNITED NATIONS UN.LIVE, we are transforming the ‘Global We Portals’ (repurposed shipping containers equipped with large screens and high-quality audio) into professional music studios, enabling artists, writers and producers from distant parts of the world to do writing sessions, like sitting together in the same studio --co-creating, sharing narratives, cultural and personal backgrounds.
February - March 2024
Partnering with Hen Hoose Collective (Scotland) to deliver an online songwriting camp in 2024. This songwriting camp offers both of our communities the opportunity to learn and develop from other creatives and to create a new lasting network for our writers and producers.
Spring 2024
One Groove, Riky Rick Foundation, AUTOR and NIROX had invited 14 music makers (producers, writers, top liners and artists) —seven from South Africa and seven from Denmark to delve into the heart of songwriting and music production to co-create what could be tomorrow's global breakthrough. The camp is designed to create nontraditional growth opportunities for new music creators, open doors to new connections to shape future professional and personal journeys and foster belonging in an empowering space to thrive, co-create, and explore your artistic passions.
A podcast series highlighting 12 diverse One Groove community members, recorded in Experimental Sound Studio, Chicago, USA, Tiwale, Lilongwe, Malawi, La Fabrique Art Studio, Tunis, Tunisia and Rumkraft, Copenhagen, Denmark, where they share their work, give and receive feedback from peers as well as established music professionals and share how their personal and cultural backgrounds have shaped their lives and music.
